Briefs: Beach remains closed
Butch Hagele Beach remained closed Tuesday in Lake in the Hills because of high E. coli levels, while Indian Trail Beach reopened for swimming. Indian Trail had been closed Monday because of heavy flooding at Woods Creek Lake. Thursday, E. coli issues forced Hagele Beach's closure. It will reopen once the E. coli subsides.
