2 grads arrested at Kaneland High School
Two men were charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing, accused of entering Kaneland High School after hours early Tuesday.
Robert D. Dredge, 18, of 2S269 W. County Line Road, Maple Park, and Andrew Ziegler, 17, of 621 Pine St., Sugar Grove, were arrested at the high school, Meredith and Keslinger roads, Maple Park.
Kane County Sheriff's police say the duo entered through an unlocked door. Someone, possibly a school custodian, called 911 to report trespassers in the school.
Police say they saw Dredge and Ziegler running out of the building. No damage was done.
Ziegler and Dredge graduated May 25 from Kaneland.
Today is the last day of school for underclassmen.
