Obama shouldn't use federal funding

Barack Obama has been accused by John McCain and our corporate media about refusing to subscribe to federal funding.

In concert, they say he is, may I say the dreaded word, "flip-flopping." And we all know this is something that McCain has avoided like the plague since his defeat in his run for the presidency eight years ago.

For several generations, the Republicans have heavily out funded and outspent the Democrats on their way to the White House. They have succeeded 28 out of the last 40 years.

Now for the first time in memory, the Democrats have a candidate who has electrified the public, who have opened their bank accounts to enable American citizens to rescue this country from neo-conic disaster.

And John McCain has become the icon of our nation's dissolution.

So are you one of the bewildered, befuddled hyper-partisan conservative voters who persist in overlooking the criminality, illegality and incompetence of your party's philosophy to vote for McCain because of Obama's flip-flopping? Or are you simply out of your mind?

If Obama took federal funds rather than private donations and lost the election, the country would suffer a devastating blow.

If he deferred instead and continued to raise money from private citizens and won, his flip-flopping would be forgotten in a heartbeat.
