Rush QB to meet fans at Champs

Chicago Rush quarterback Sherdrick Bonner will be greeting fans and signing autographs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Champs Sports in Woodfield Mall.

Bonner, who will be joined by two Adrenaline Rush Dancers, will be showcasing the team's new black jersey, which the Rush will wear for the first time when it takes on Los Angeles on Monday at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

Replica versions of the black jerseys went on sale this week at all Chicagoland Champs Sports locations.

Voted No. 8 on the Arena Football League's list of its 20 Greatest Players, Bonner ranks third in AFL history in passing attempts, completions, yards and touchdowns. He has been named to the league's All-Arena team five times and has led his teams to five ArenaBowls (1994, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2004), winning twice.
