Boycott PGA for its boycotting our area

Saturday in the Sports section I read a short article by Todd Mrowice suggesting that since the PGA's Western Open is now an every-other-year event in Chicago, we might attend any of four of the PGA's "minor league" tournaments, only two of which are in the Chicago area. I would like to suggest a fifth alternative for Chicago golf fans: Boycott all four PGA events, and let the PGA know about it!

In no other major city has the PGA played round robin with its tournament: Not in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta or Miami. Even Silvis, Illinois gets its PGA Tour event every year. So, since the PGA has decided to boycott Chicago, I think all of us should boycott the PGA.
