The problem with Obama, McCain
My letter is in response to the May 13th letter from John D. Morgan, in which he called Hillary Clinton a racist who said that "hard working" white Americans favor her over Barack Obama and he was going to vote for Barack Obama for president.
It is so aggravating to hear comments from an Obama supporter accusing somebody of racism.
Is the name Jeremiah Wright a forgotten name? This is the reason that I'm completely disgusted with the future choice of candidates for president in November.
John McCain will just continue with the disastrous eight years that we have had in the White House.
Mr. Obama who for many months has made speeches, talked about unifying the country and about inspiring people, still does not get the fact that he needs to connect with many hard-working white Americans who care about hearing about specific plans on how a president will help people survive in a troubled economy to take care of their families.
It's not a racist comment by her. When you run for president, you need to connect and listen to all of the people of this country and not just certain groups.
With Obama, we will be electing a candidate with very little experience in getting major things accomplished and Mr. Morgan wants us to believe he will change the world when he gets in office, just like the Democrats have so beautifully done in Springfield and Washington.
Obama's experience comes from a state at the bottom of all 50 states in funding for education and funding for children with disabilities.
Our state budget is in the red and we have a Democratic governor, a Democratic controlled State Senate and House of Representatives who support him that are the most corrupt and the most dysfunctional state government in this country and the future Democratic nominee was quoted as saying that State Senate President Emil Jones was a past mentor of his.
What great choices we have for November!
