Crash sends 2 to hospital
Ambulances took two people to the hospital Monday after a four-vehicle crash near Schaumburg that pinned two people in a car. The Palatine Rural Fire Department responded to the emergency at North Roselle and West Central roads after getting a call at 4:18 p.m., Lt. John Thalman said. Two people were taken with non-life-threatening injuries to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Thalman said. Four others involved in the crash refused treatment at the scene. Schaumburg police are investigating the accident. Barrington and Palatine fire departments assisted at the scene.
