Christian band to reunite for concert

Christian band Isaiah 53 has performed for 25 years in the northern Illinois area.

After a two-year "retirement," Isaiah 53 will rejoin to perform a holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at Fellowship of Faith Lutheran Church, 6120 Mason Hill Road, McHenry.

Members and friends joining for this concert of Christian and secular Christmas music include: Evelyn Brefeld, keyboards; Bill Dodds, tenor; Dave Finch, percussion; Bill Gartner, bass; Sandy Heffelfinger, soprano; Brooke Parker, guitar; Scott Persky, percussion; Jane Ryan, alto; Lynn Schnelker, alto; Kate Schnelker-Parks, soprano; Kris Stanek, alto; Ron Schuette, tenor; Jan Webel, soprano; and Carol Yoder, guitar.

In addition, Isaiah 53 will sing at the 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services Sunday at Faith Community Church, 10547 Faiths Way, just off Algonquin Road.
