Before the music died
Drury Lane Theatre Oak Brook examines the life of one of rock 'n' roll's seminal figures in "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story," about the singer/songwriter who died in a 1959 plane crash after rocketing to stardom on such pop classics "Peggy Sue" and "That'll Be the Day" among others.

Advice lady
Tony Award winner (and former Northlight Theatre resident artist) Judith Ivey stars as famed advice columnist Ann Landers in David Rambo's one-woman show, "The Lady with All the Answers," about a woman who counseled others through heartbreak and then confronted it herself.

The long-awaited tour of the Broadway hit "Avenue Q," an adult show about 20-somethings chasing love and stardom in NYC, whose cast consists of puppets and people, comes to Chicago's Cadillac Palace for a brief run beginning next week.
