Hoffman Estates man charged with drug possession

Bond was set at $10,000 Saturday for a 22-year-old Hoffman Estates man charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Mark J. Gagliano, of 616 Bode Circle, was arrested Friday night after a police informant assisted Schaumburg investigators in setting up a phony drug buy outside of a store on Martingale Road.

Police said Gagliano agreed to sell eight Ecstasy pills for $100. Police also found 91 more pills in his vehicle.

His next court date is May 29 at the Cook County courthouse in Rolling Meadows.
