The briefs
New Celebrate! section coming
Beginning May 11, the Daily Herald will publish a new section titled "Celebrate," which will herald readers' celebrations of milestones in their lives, such as birthdays, graduations, new babies, bar/bat mitzvahs, QuinceaƱeras, baptisms, first Communions and confirmations, and anything else that readers would like to celebrate. There will be a cost to place an announcement in Celebrate. Because of this, birthday greetings no longer will be published in Neighbor for free after May 10. If you are interested in placing an announcement in "Celebrate," visit dailyherald.com and click on "Commitments" under the Lifestyle tab, or call (847) 427-4495 for a form.
