Let local, state police help ATF agents

Since gun control legislation makes quivering cowards of all politicians, why don't we allow all local and state police organizations help the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms inspect the sales receipts and inventory records of all gun dealers in their area of responsibility.

We know ATF agents are only able to get to most gun dealers about once every two or three years. Don't change any laws. Just let the cities and states, where children are dying and being maimed on a daily basis, assist in enforcement of current laws.

The National Rifle Association is asking to just enforce our present laws by allowing local and state law enforcement agencies to assist the ATF. We could inspect local gun dealers in each jurisdiction monthly.
