Exhibit gets its groove on
A new exhibit opens on Friday at the Lake County Discovery Museum featuring the jazzy artwork of Jim Flora.
Flora did the cover designs from many of the jazz albums of the 1940s and 1950s for Columbia and RCA Victor. He was also a children's book author and illustrator.
The museum will host the exhibition of Flora's original paintings, fine art prints, woodcut prints and record covers. The exhibit runs through Aug. 31.
