Senior job club to meet on Tuesday

Schaumburg, Palatine and Wheeling townships will sponsor their monthly senior job club at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schaumburg Township, One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates.

All job seekers 50 and older are encouraged to bring a friend.

FedEx will be there in search of drivers, particularly those with endorsements. A travel company will be there in search of inside sales professionals and Sam's Club will be hiring for management positions in marketing as well as full- and part-time cashiers.

Get new state ID at Cuba Twp. event

In conjunction with the Illinois Secretary of State's Office, Cuba Township will host a "Mobile Driver Services Day" from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The event will be held at the Cuba Township office, 2800 W. Cuba Road, Barrington.

During the event, residents can get duplicate driver's licenses, corrected driver's licenses and Illinois State ID cards.

Dist. 211 to meet at Conant Thursday

The Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday has been moved to the student cafeteria at Conant High School, 700 E. Cougar Trail, Hoffman Estates.
