Forte-Scott wants to protect children

With over 230,000 new registrants a day joining networking Web sites, sexual predators are now using the Internet as their primary source to target children. The Illinois Attorney General has discovered 1,812 registered six offenders with 3,000-plus profiles communicating with minors. Dangerous online predators are using fake personas and images to talk to possible victims on interactive Web sites, like Facebook, MySpace and Playstation3's online games. We need aggressive laws to stop these online predators.

To address this issue, Republican nominee for state representative, Anita Forte-Scott announced a cyber-safety "Agenda for Action" to protect children from online predators. Her agenda will ban sexual predators from social networking sites, mandate online networking sites to obtain parental permission prior to minors joining and require technology professionals to report child pornography to law enforcement.

Anita Forte-Scott will pass legislation to stop predators from freely roaming on the web. Support Forte-Scott on Nov. 4 to keep our families safe!
