Sigma Services adds cold room

MUNDELEIN -- Sigma Services Corp., an Food and Drug Administration certified co-packaging company, unveiled its new 5,000-square-foot refrigerated room at 225 E. Hawley St. The first refrigerated opportunity Sigma will do is a product exported to Mexico. With the growth in the ready-to-eat, single-serve market, the facility will allow the company to offer a co-packaging service and reach new customers.
