Schaumburg High hosts trombonists

Schaumburg High School holds a performance by the 12-member Chicago Trombone Authority at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the school's Weimer Auditorium, 1100 W. Schaumburg Road.

The style of music will range from pop to classical, with many arrangements written by group members.

Senior job club to meet on Tuesday

Schaumburg, Palatine and Wheeling townships will sponsor their monthly senior job club at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schaumburg Township, One Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates.

All job seekers age 50 and older are encouraged to bring a friend.

FedEx will be there in search of drivers, particularly those with endorsements. A travel company will be there in search of inside sales professionals and Sam's Club will be hiring for management positions in marketing as well as full- and part-time cashiers.
