Obama should have attended climate talks

The U.N. Climate Talks in Poland gave Barack Obama his first opportunity to lead. He has been invited to join our world leaders to help solve the Climate Crisis.

The United States has an opportunity and responsibility to lead on the issue of global warming.

Here in Schaumburg I try to conserve energy. I walk as much as I can, recycle batteries, and I keep my heat low in the winter.

I care about global warming for the future of my children. After spending five years serving my country in the Marine Corps, I am now studying engineering so that I can help develop clean energy technology.

I would like to see our world leaders do their part too.
