One Rev. Wright makes a wrong

The pastor of Obama's church, Jeremiah Wright, has made many outlandish and inflammatory claims including one where the U.S. government injects the AIDS virus into blacks as part of attempted genocide.

I believe that Obama's choice to remain part of that church is questionable, but he has a long history and personal relationship with Wright. Out of respect and friendship, he will not reject Wright for the gain of the campaign.

I can empathize with Obama's position regarding his personal relationship with Wright.

However, Obama invited that same pastor to join his campaign as part of the African American Leadership Council.

This means Obama believes Wright deserves to be part of the leadership, which a potential U.S. president relies upon for advice.

This goes beyond any personal relationship and shows Obama either lacks the ability to make hard decisions, believes that Wright can offer sound advice or both.
