United mechanics vote for Teamsters
CHICAGO -- United Airlines' mechanics have voted to switch their union representation to the Teamsters Union from the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association. The Teamsters announced the results of voting Monday, saying it got over 60 percent of the more than 6,700 votes cast. The National Mediation Board must still certify the vote.
