• Elmhurst College named the following students to the fall dean's list for achieving an average of at least 3.75.

Des Plaines: Carolyn Carrara, Agnieszka Chodyn, Kevin Christman, Sebastian Domczewski, Pamela Economos, Jency George, Jacqueline Giese, Amanda Goczkowski, Erin Hopkins, Christopher Kudyba, Caroline Lodewyck, Michele Matthews, Stavroula Montes, Courtney Moore, Brittney Nelson, Katherine Norman, Ewelina Przybylo, Jennifer Rafaelli, Sara Schroeder, Jaiman Shah, Antonia St. Victor, Tiffany Vilamin and Andrew Wilson.

Elk Grove Village: Matthew Acosta, Bridget Huit, Jaclyn Kozak, Melanie Pierucci, Brett Stockmeier, Gina Storto, Mary VanMoffaert and Ryan Wilkinson.

• Sean Prorak, son of Betty and Steven Prorak of Elk Grove Village, was named to the winter 2007 dean's list at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind. He is a senior majoring in chemistry.

• Matthew Paloian of Rosemont graduated cum laude in December 2007 from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, Mich. He received an associate in applied science with a major in surveying technology. Paloian also received academic honors for having at least a 3.5 GPA.

• Michael Robert Tejeda, Des Plaines; Daniel Karl Mayer, Elk Grove Village; Christopher Daniel Beverley, Mount Prospect, and Samantha Kay Rice, Park Ridge, were named to the Department of Communication Honor Roll for the fall 2007 semester at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb. To qualify, students must have a 3.5 or greater GPA.
