Fire damages West Chicago factory

Minor damage was reported after a machine caught fire Saturday at a West Chicago factory, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 9 p.m. at 1351 Hawthorn Lane, at a plant that makes Styrofoam cups and other items, said West Chicago fire Lt. Dennis Keefe.

The fire was limited to the machine. No one was injured, Keefe said.
