Cary Junior High kids focus on kindness

The students of the Cary Junior High Dragon Council have been busy organizing events such as a food drive, teddy bear dance, student/staff volleyball games and a book drive.

The latest project the students have been working on is random acts of kindness. February was designated to recognize all students who demonstrate what it means to be kind. The students nominated each other for their acts by placing the other student's name in a box with an explanation of what they've done.

The bulletin board in the hallway is filled with many pictures and explanations of the students who made it a point to be kind.
