Moto still evaluating phone unit

Motorola Inc., facing shareholder pressure to exit its money-losing mobile-phone business, is still evaluating strategic options for the division.

The company is "focused on fixing" the unit, the Schaumburg-based company's largest, Chief Executive Officer Greg Brown said today at a Morgan Stanley conference in Dana Point, Calif.

The company said Jan. 31 it is evaluating options, including a sale of the division.
