Drug OD kills two in Fox Lake

Lake County Coroner Richard Keller said an apparent drug overdose is believed to have killed two men found in a Fox Lake residence.

Keller said 45-year-old Frank Hayes Jr. and 36-year-old Dustin Trzaskowski were discovered by police about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday in a home on Manor Avenue. Trzaskowski lived at the location.

Keller said a permanent residence had not been established for Hayes, but he was a Fox Lake resident. Keller said preliminary results show the two overdosed on heroin, but toxicology results have not been returned.

The drug is also being tested to determine if it was mixed with other chemicals.
