Obama experience is in campaigning

I have figured out why Barack Obama is doing better than Hillary Clinton. He has more experience.

No, not the kind you're thinking. He has more experience campaigning.

First he ran for state senate in 1996 and won. But before completing his term, he ran for the U.S. House in 2000 and lost but was re-elected to the state senate.

Before completing that term, he ran for the U.S. senate and won. Before completing that term, he started running for president.

So exactly how much time has he been able to devote to the jobs to which he has been elected?

That's a rhetorical question. Obviously not much.

The presidency is the most important job on the planet. We need someone with legislative and leadership experience, not campaigning experience.

Words are cheap. It's performance that counts.

John McCain is an experienced moderate Republican who has shown he can work with Democrats to reach compromises on important issues.

He and one of his supporters, Democrat Joe Lieberman, have frequently been at odds with their respective parties' members because they are independent thinkers.

If you want to end the gridlock in Congress, choose a moderate, not an extremist. Elect John McCain. He will serve America with dignity and will not require on-the-job training.
