3 area players make 3-point finals

The Fox Valley area will have three boys basketball players shooting in the IHSA 3-point finals today at Carver Arena in Peoria.

Larkin sophomore Ryan Smith and Cary-Grove senior Paul Tometich each made 10 of their 15 shots to advance to the Class 4A finals tonight. They will join David Brown of Hononegah and Jamere Walton of St. Rita in the finals.

In Class 3A, Huntley junior Zac Boster, who had 68 3-pointers for the Red Raiders this season, made 11 of his 15 attempts to advance to this afternoon's finals.

He will compete against Ryan Hale of Charleston, Juczas Pranckeius of Lemont and Joe Guth of Aurora Central Catholic.
