'Trees' exhibit at Elk Grove library
The Artists Association of Elk Grove Village is holding its 28th annual "Trees" exhibit through April 25 at the Elk Grove Public Library, 1001 Wellington Ave. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The trees exhibit is in honor of Arbor Day.
Rotary Club offers scholarships
The Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights noon Rotary Club is offering scholarships to graduating Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights high school seniors seeking post secondary education opportunities. Scholarships of $2,000 for four-year degrees and $1,000 for associate degrees and vocational training are available. Applicants must be Mount Prospect or Prospect Heights residents and graduating high school seniors. Applicants will be judged on academic achievement, community service, financial need and chosen field of study. Applications are available through District 214 college counselors. Fair targets homeschooling
The Home Educators Loving Parents homeschool support group will host their second annual H.E.L.P. Homeschool Resource Fair from 7 to 9 p.m. March 25, at the Elk Grove Village Library, 1001 Wellington Ave. The fair is open to all homeschoolers and to those considering homeschooling.
Organizations include homeschool co-ops and support groups, and those focused on music, theater, fine arts, Scouting, tutoring, athletics and field trips.
