Motorola finishes Soundbuzz buyout

SCHAUMBURG -- Motorola Inc. said Monday it successfully completed its acquisition of Soundbuzz Ltd., a Singapore-based music producer. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Schaumburg-based Motorola said the acquisition was part of its effort to expand in the mobile music download market. The deal establishes its MotoMusic as the leading digital music platform in the Asia-Pacific region.
