Raue Center for the Arts names new board of advisers

Raue Center for the Arts has announced the election of its new board of advisers.

The results made public Feb. 14 added new members Richard L. Emery, Jack Minsley, Crystal Lake Mayor Aaron T. Shepley, Sen. Pam Althoff, Peter Kunz, Verla Wehde, Richard Naponelli, Erv LeCoque, Jane Franz, Kris Underwood, Cort Carlson, Elke Proehl-Buder and Tim Curran to the roster.

At the first committee meeting Feb. 11, members were welcomed by Raue Center board President Paula Dorion-Gray, Vice President Matthew Turk and Executive Director Richard Kuranda.

The mission of the advisory committee is to advise the board of directors on policy and programs, to make recommendations to the board on actions to be taken and to provide information to the board that will contribute to the success and growth of Raue Center for the Arts.

Raue Center has announced the appointment of chairman emeritus to William Dwyer at the Monday evening meeting. Dwyer will serve as the liaison to the board of directors.
