Politicians make a living off loopholes

The late British comic Dave Allen had this to say about lawyers some time ago:

"Lawyers are crafty individuals who will get together to draft 100 new laws. At the same time they will leave 100 loopholes in these laws so 100 other lawyers can make a living off of them."

It seems to a lot of us that far too many of our "in" politicians follow this concept also. While in office they will leave behind some of their questionable decisions as useable "loopholes" for hundreds of new political office aspirants around the country to feed on as political platforms, to also hopefully make a good living off of .
