Rockin' Rotary Ribfest gets PR agency
After a comprehensive search, the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club has selected KeepinTouch Communications, a full-service marketing and public relations agency, to manage the fund-raising activities of the annual Rockin' Rotary Ribfest, July 10-13.
The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness of the Ribfest and its sponsorship levels among the corporate and local business community.
Funds raised through Ribfest's sponsorships and donations will support the Rotary Club's philanthropic mission: to make a difference by helping those in need.
Nonprofits to benefit from this year's Ribfest fund-raiser will include The Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry and Police Explorers Senior Citizens program, the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Leadership Scholarship fund and the Kenya Water project.
"We are pleased to have the opportunity to help the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club reach its fundraising goals," said Betty Keepin, principal of KeepinTouch.
"The Rotary's ambitious strategy to turn the Ribfest into a major charitable force demands a thoughtful yet aggressive approach that KeepinTouch is ready to deliver."
"KeepinTouch Communications was handpicked to represent the Lake in the Hills Rotary Club's signature Ribfest fundraiser," said Mary Siewenie, Lake in the Hills Rotary Club president.
"As we build awareness and gain momentum in the business sector, KeepinTouch is ideally suited to help the Rotary reach its next level of fundraising opportunities."
