Motorola raises chief's salary

Motorola Inc. Chief Executive Officer Greg Brown will get a base salary of $1.2 million this year, a 26 percent increase. His salary last year was $950,000, Motorola said Tuesday in a regulatory filing. Brown took over the CEO job last month after serving as president of the company. He may receive annual bonuses, depending on performance, of $4.2 million, Motorola said. Brown also will get 679,348 stock options, the company said.
