Bill Staines headlines Saturday in Woodstock

Off Square Music will present Bill Staines in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Congregational Unitarian Church, 221 Dean St., Woodstock

For more than 25 years, Staines has traveled back and forth across North America, singing his songs and delighting audiences. He has become one of the most popular singers on the folk music circuit today.

He has written hundreds of songs, including "All God's Critter's Got a Place in the Choir," "Roseville Fair" and "River."

His performances intersperse originals with traditional folk tunes and contemporary country ballads. Among them all, he weaves wit and gentle humor.
