Gloating even while charring kid's meat

There have been multiple letters from non-smokers, essentially gloating about the fact that Illinois is now smoke- free. They can take their children anywhere they please, and not worry about all that harmful smoke anymore.

I find it interesting that these same people will rave about how flavorful something cooked on a barbecue is. They cheerfully hand their children a burger from that grill and proclaim it good.

The trace amount of smoke in the air remains in your body only the few seconds it takes to exhale. The residue on the food you eat takes 24 to 36 hours it takes to digest. I wonder which is more harmful?
