Casino Night: The Clearbrook Guardians Casino Night is from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. March 8 at the Getz Workshop, 746 S. Vermont Ave., Palatine.

Jelly Belly Days: The Jelly Belly Days are May 16 and 17; various shifts will be from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at various storefronts and intersections throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs
More than 1,000 yellow-vested volunteers will trade signature gourmet Jelly Belly Candy jelly beans for a donation. School groups, organizations and companies can use this opportunity for team building and can also engage in friendly competition, seeing who can collect the most money. Nearly 3,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities supported by Clearbrook will benefit from this major fundraising event.
