Tri-M is an international music honor society for high school music students that motivates and recognizes musical achievement. Its mission is to increase student and school involvement with music and to strengthen and unify the school music program.
To gain acceptance into the organization, students must have a 3.0 grade point average, participate in the Illinois High School Association Solo and Ensemble Contest, and volunteer within their community. The new members' talents range from instrumental to vocal musicianship.
