• Colleen M. Stanfa, 18, of 1263 Herrington Road, was cited for making an improper turn after an accident at Fargo Boulevard and Pioneer Court at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. She was traveling east on Fargo and making a U-turn, and changed her mind, causing her car to be hit on the driver's side by a westbound Saturn Vue. Stanfa was taken to Delnor-Community Hospital.

Kane County

• A mailbox and post valued at $150 were damaged Monday at 48W565 Lasher Road, Kaneville Township.

• Credit card fraud was reported Tuesday after a resident at 42W421 Red Bud Court, Campton Township, learned her account was used to make a $178 purchase.

St. Charles

• Six teenagers were cited for underage drinking during a party Dec. 31 at Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St., according to a police report made public Wednesday. Charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor were South Elgin residents Andrew R. Pedersen, 18, of 615 Waterford Lane and Michelle J. Jancik, 18, of 445 Valley Forge Ave.; and St. Charles residents Andrew A. Forsell, 19, of 40W693 Aberdeen Lane, Jeff M. Pechan, 19, of 7N260 Fox Bend Drive, Molly R. Covarrubias, 17, of 6N555 Randall Road and Colleen G. Groener, 18, of 6N549 Juniper Court, according to the report.

• Elena M. Phelan, 22, of 21175 Crestview Drive, Barrington, was arrested at 4:45 a.m. Sunday and charged with drunken driving and improper lane usage after crashing a truck into two parked vehicles on the 300 block of South Fourth Street, police said. No injuries were reported. Phelan was released with a notice to appear in court March 19.

• Rocio A. Perez, 22, and Juan C. Torres, 29, both of 29W553 Countryridge Drive Unit F, Warrenville, were arrested at 8:57 p.m. Sunday and each charged with retail theft after stealing $99.99 in merchandise from Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St., police said. Perez and Torres were each released with notices to appear in court March 6.

• Amanda G. Lasky, 20, and Carl V.J. Zito, 24, both of 205 Center St., Maple Park, were arrested at 4:30 p.m. Monday and each charged with retail theft after stealing $74.13 in merchandise from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said. Lasky and Zito each were released with notices to appear in court Feb. 21.

• Police are investigating the theft of a coin-operated machine from Charlestowne Mall, 3800 E. Main St. According to a report, an unidentified man pried the change machine -- located near a mall entrance -- from its stand and wheeled it on a cart to a white van in the mall parking lot about 6:23 p.m. Monday. The machine is valued at $200 and contained an undetermined amount of cash. The incident was witnessed by several customers and mall employees, who described the suspect as standing between 5 foot 8 inches and 6-feet tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds. The man wore a dark-colored coat, jeans and gym shoes, police said. To report information about the theft, call police at (630) 377-4435.

• Kathleen J. Legan, 38, of 101 S. 17th St. Unit B, was cited Monday for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license suspended, police said. According to a report, which did not include details of the accident, the charges stemmed from a Jan. 16 crash on the 2000 block of West Main Street. Police said Legan and a passenger were injured in the crash. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 21.
