Pets of the Week
Assisi Animal Foundation is featuring these Pets of the Week. Adoption appointments are made seven days a week by calling the shelter at (815) 455-9411.
You can find more information about the shelter and view many of the pets available for adoption by visiting the Web site, www.assisi.org.
On the second Sunday of each month, the shelter brings a few of its adoptable animals to the PetSmart on Randall Road in Algonquin and to the PETCO on Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Contact the shelter for dates and times if you are interested in seeing us there.
Assisi Animal Foundation is featuring these Pets of the Week.
Antonio: Antonio is a 4-year-old domestic short hair male. He came to the shelter with a broken front leg but has healed wonderfully and has won the hearts of all at the shelter. He is very laid back and super friendly and affectionate. He would be a wonderful addition to any family.
Frazier: Frazier is a 4-month-old basset hound/lab mix male. He is full of energy, likes everyone and loves to check out anything new. Frazier is looking for a family to provide him with lots of love, training, socialization and guidance to become the great family dog he can be.
Donner: Donner is a 6-month-old domestic short hair female. She is very curious, entertaining and ready to explore her new home. Donner is very friendly and loves people. Her big inquisitive eyes are hard to resist.
Volunteers welcome: The Assisi Foundation rescues animals and provides quality care while they await their new homes. The AAF recently was able to take in survivors from a tragic fire at a county pound in Franklin County, all of whom need homes after the terrible experience they survived.
The Assisi Animal Foundation needs and welcomes volunteers. For information on adoptions, volunteering or programs, call the Assisi Animal Foundation at (815) 455-9411.
