• Northern Illinois University in DeKalb announced the following students were named to the spring 2007 dean's list in their respective colleges.
Des Plaines: Daniel Robert Clinton, Jake William Harris, Deeba Hasan, Mohini Vinod Jayswal and Karen C. Macella.
Elk Grove Village: Jodi Lee Carlson, Lauren Kathleen Cimino, Heather E. Hansen, Katie Anne Hoppe, Rachel McEnery, Margaret Bridget Nora and Dion Royce Schnabel.
Mount Prospect: Malinde Reet Caldwell, Peter Paul Falcone, Attilio J. Fiordirosa, Rogelio Jose Gamez, Justin Douglas Koda, Abigail Jean Many, Timothy John Pressnell and Denisse De Valladares.
Park Ridge: Jackie Natali Blachut, Jenna Marie Huffman, Nicole Marie Huspen, Steven Anthony Milazzo, Megan Roche, Kristin Marie Runyon and Matthew Joseph Shesek.

• Kelly Maryanski, daughter of Mari Lu and James Maryanski of Mount Prospect, was named to the spring 2007 dean's list at Denison University, Granville, Ohio. To achieve this distinction, students must have at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. She also received the Jeanne Vail Fine Arts Scholarship, which is awarded to meritorious fine arts students at Denison.
Maryanski, a 2006 Wheeling High School graduate, is a studio art major and dance minor.
• Stephan Baker, son of Susan and Donald Baker of Elk Grove Village, was named to the spring quarter dean's list at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Ind., for earning at least a 3.3 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Baker is a senior majoring in electrical engineering.
