Clinton clearly best choice for president
If Hillary were a man and Obama a woman, would there be any question as to whom the voters would elect as president? For that matter, would Obama even be running for president ?
Change is merely a wish, an empty slogan and a false promise, unless you have what it takes to make it happen.
Hillary has a solid record of making changes for over 30 years. Battle-tested, hard working, dedicated, tough, talented, determined and disciplined, she is a proven effective change agent and by far the most qualified candidate of substance. No wonder she won the Senate re-election in New York with a whopping 67 percent of the votes, prevailing even in largely Republican upstate New York. As Charles Rangel, the African-American chair of the House's Ways and Means Committee and a supporter of Hillary, says: "Voters ought to pick a president based on who is best for the country, not on who makes them feel good."
We can't afford to repeat the mistake of picking a president based on a deceptive appearance and promises, which got us where we are. Voters ought instead to check out the candidate records with great care. In light of the dire state of this nation and its economy, we need a president who is ready to take on the monumental task of restoring this nation on day one. Hillary, with her impressive command of the issues and her detailed, well-thought-out plans, should be that president.
