Township says thanks for the help

Vernon Township would like to thank all those that participated in our annual holiday Sponsor-A-Family program. Because of the community's generosity, the township was able to help over 100 families with a Thanksgiving dinner basket and provided over 150 families with holiday gifts.

Vernon Township received an overwhelming response from local schools, families, corporations, churches, synagogues, clubs and other organizations who wanted to share the holiday spirit with the less fortunate.

In addition, the township would also like to thank everyone that donated nonperishable food and gift certificates to the Vernon Township Food Pantry.
