Bask in glow of Shining Stars at Celestial Celebration

Tickets for the Mount Prospect's Celestial Celebration are going quickly, so don't delay.

The event is considered to be the village's premier awards show, since it highlights the good deeds of residents.

It'll be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at Bristol Court Banquets in Mount Prospect.

The ticket price of $35 includes dinner and dancing.

In the past several years, tickets have sold out before the event.

Attendance will be capped at 675 guests, so order your tickets before it's too late.

The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Shining Star Awards to Mount Prospect's volunteers, community-minded citizens, and all-around good citizens.

This year's theme is "Shake, Rattle & Roll with the Stars."

The ticket order form can be found on the village Web site, www.mountprospect.org.
