Kids with acting bug can work with theater group

Register for the Children's Theater Company of Cary. Children in second through sixth grades will learn what it takes to make theater magic happen. Students will be cast in roles by the director and rehearse until the performance. This program promotes confidence, creativity, positive self-esteem, and memorization and listening skills.

Students will perform two shows in front of an audience April 19 at the Cary Junior High School.

The Children's Theater Company of Cary will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays Jan. 28-April 14 at the Kraus Senior Center, 441 W. Main St., Cary.

Registration is $61 for Cary Park District residents and $92 for nonresidents. Registration is being accepted at the Cary Park District Community Center. Registration forms are available at the Community Center or online at www.carypark.com.
