Candidate with bad idea on storm water

I was surprised to see the Daily Herald's endorsement of James Zay for the 6th District DuPage County Board

The storm water plan he is proposing is modeled after the most restrictive plan in the country. It will have a far greater negative impact on Du Page County then just what the user fees will have.

Lets see -- place a fee on our schools, churches, and other nonprofits, add hundreds of pages of new regulations, increase the cost of construction, slow growth, add a layer of bureaucracy and increase the size and scope of government.

Sounds like a conservative platform to me.

If this is what it means to be a DuPage County Republican I guess it's time to look at the other party.
