Hester leaves game with calf injury
Chicago Bears wide receiver and kick returner Devin Hester left the game with a calf injury early in the third quarter and did not return.
"I don't know how exactly bad it is," coach Lovie Smith said, "but hopefully we'll get him back before too long."
Hester was hurt on an end-around play when he took a handoff and was tackled for a 4-yard loss. He limped off the field, received some treatment on the sideline and then walked gingerly into the tunnel to the dressing room.
class="News">Hester's only reception was a 48-yarder in the first quarter that set up the Bears' first touchdown.
