Glendale Heights woman dies in one-car crash

A Glendale Heights woman died Tuesday night after she backed out of her driveway and struck a light pole, police said Wednesday.

Police said Dao T. Hua, 50, died at the scene.

Glendale Heights police responded about 10 p.m. to the 400 block of Polo Club Drive to a report of an accident with injuries.

Cmdr. Steve Ewoldt said the accident is still under investigation and no further details are available.
