Briefs: SSS Research works on intelligence plan

LISLE -- SSS Research announced it is working with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to provide key software as part of its NGA Earth eGeoInt project. Under this relationship, SSS Research provides its GeoBoost Visual Intelligence software to enable situational location intelligence for multiple agencies. Stephen Eick, SSS Research's chairman and CEO said: "NGA plays such an important role in supporting the Intelligence and Defense communities, we are happy to collaborate on such a critical analysis tool."

Progressive Auto unveils new tool

ITASCA -- Progressive Automotive Systems Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Midas Inc., announced its release of R.O. Writer shop management system, version 1.20, which includes connectivity to ACDelco. With the help of ACDelco, Progressive has developed an Internet-based parts and labor acquisition tool that reaches out to ACDelco warehouse distributors for availability, cost pricing and labor times based on the labor operation.
