Taylor Swift tickets offered as part of Marklund fundraising auction
Two 23rd-row tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert in New Orleans will be part of an auction package presented at Marklund’s 28th annual Top Hat Ball Saturday, Feb. 10.
The gala-style event — Marklund’s largest fundraiser of the year — will be held, at the Chicago Marriott Hotel on the Mag Mile.
Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential and education support to children and adults with profound developmental disabilities and autism.
The Taylor Swift package, which includes a 2-night hotel stay plus autographed album, will be presented during the live auction portion of the Top Hat Ball; however, proxy bidding for those not attending will be made through a member of the Marklund fundraising staff.
The winner will get two tickets to see Swift in New Orleans at Caesars Superdome on Friday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. in the 23rd row. It also includes two nights at the InterContinental Hotel in this sold-out city. To top it off, you’ll go home with a framed Taylor Swift “Platinum Album,” signed by Swift herself, complete with letter of authenticity.
Funds raised during the Top Hat Ball live and silent auctions support the care of children and adults with profound developmental disabilities being served by the Marklund organization.
Proxy bidding is available for those not attending Top Hat Ball. Interested bidders should contact Jeannine Zupo at jzupo@marklund.org for more information.
