Briefs: Sagent enters pact with Indian firm

SCHAUMBURG -- Privately-held specialty pharmaceutical firm Sagent Pharmaceuticals Inc. and India-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Astral Pharmaceutical Industries on Tuesday announced a deal to market Astral's injectable drugs in the United States.

Ex-LaSalle official goes to Amcore

ROCKFORD -- Amcore Financial Inc. on Tuesday named Judith Carre Sutfin its chief financial officer and executive vice president. Sutfin, 46, most recently was head of business decision support at LaSalle Bank Corp., Chicago, which was recently acquired by Bank of America. The Amcore position previously was held by Donald H. Wilson, who was promoted to president. Sutfin was the fourth female executive vice president in LaSalle's history.
